For the HyperVerge TA team

Save a LinkedIn profile into HyperTalent — without leaving the page.

A Chrome extension that opens next to any LinkedIn profile, reads what’s public on the page, and saves it straight into one of your open roles — sign in once, pick a role, done.

Chrome Web Store listing pending review — until then, ask your TA lead for the unpacked build.

The HyperTalent side panel open next to a LinkedIn profile, showing the auto-filled review card and role picker.

How it works

Four steps, in order — each one only happens after the last, and only when you act.

  1. 01

Once, with the same @hyperverge.co Google account you already use for HyperTalent.

  2. 02

    Open a profile

Any public linkedin.com/in/… page. The toolbar icon opens the side panel next to it.

  3. 03

    Review

The panel shows what it read — colored so you know what to trust and what to check.

  4. 04

    Save

Pick one of your assigned roles. One click writes it into that role's Profiles sheet.

No bots. No automation.

It reads the page a recruiter already has open, once, only when they click — the same information they could select and copy by hand, just faster.

Public data only

Name, headline, title, company, location — the fields already visible on the profile page. Nothing behind a login wall the recruiter doesn’t already have.

A person clicks every time

No background crawling, no bulk export, no scheduled jobs. One profile, one click, every single save — the extension does nothing on its own.

Never touches LinkedIn’s API

It reads the page’s own rendered content — no LinkedIn API calls, no logging in on the recruiter’s behalf, no scraping a page nobody opened.

See it in the panel

Every screen the extension has — this is the whole surface.

Sign-in screen: sign in with your @hyperverge.co Google account.
Review card with each field's confidence color explained — green, amber, red.
Searching and selecting one of your assigned open roles.
Confirmation after saving: Added to Backend Engineer.

Permissions it asks Chrome for

Five permissions, two hosts — every one used for exactly what’s described below, and nothing else. This is the same list a Chrome Web Store reviewer sees.

"identity"

Identity

Signs you in with your existing @hyperverge.co Google account.

"storage"

Storage

Caches your sign-in token locally, so you aren't asked to sign in every time.

"sidePanel"

Side panel

The extension's entire UI lives in Chrome's side panel — no popup, no new tab.

"activeTab"

Active tab

Reads the LinkedIn profile you have open, only when you open the panel.

"scripting"

Scripting

Runs our own profile-reading script on the LinkedIn page to fill the review card.

Host access

https://www.linkedin.com/*

Read the public profile you're viewing, to populate the review card.

https://hypertalent-ten.vercel.app/*

Call HyperTalent's own backend to verify sign-in, list your assigned roles, and save the profile into the one you choose. No other host is ever contacted.

What we do and don’t collect

  • The public LinkedIn fields you choose to save
  • Which recruiter saved each profile, and when

We never collect

  • Passwords — Google handles sign-in
  • Your browsing history or device location
  • Messages, keystrokes, or click tracking
